Drive well,sleep carefully.
The past seven or so days have been to put it simply mindblowning (no pun intended) getting to see most of the country via coaches in a very Kerouac esque fashion and more importantly seeing death cab for cutie nearly every night over the space of a week (and aside from Adelaide got to do it for free). There were subtle differences between this and the narrow stairs roadtrip (in which i only saw them four times) some parts were better, such as getting to meet Ben twice but this tour marked a very difficult stage in his life and i wouldn't want to meet fans in that situation either. As for the setlists while i enjoyed the something about airplanes heavy sets last time , this time the sets were a lot better due to the you can play these songs with chords/we have the facts and we're voting yes /transatlanticism songs, in which most noobs looked puzzled that this wasn't in thier seth cohen year book soundtrack. . I'll do a much better summary of the two roadtrips when i have a lot more caffeine into me and you can more detailed reviews of both roadtrips in my upcoming as of yet untitled zine(which has interviews with the head and the heart, Andrew Kenny of american analog set/the wooden birds , tigers jaw, kevin devine etc) but a mega thanks goes to Chris, Jason, Ben and Nick, their sound guys and the tour manager Andy for giving me this awesome chance and i look forward to road-trip numero three later this year.

On a much more positive note, thank you to everyone who came out and saw us in...
